Terms of Service — DataCarbon

1. Agreement
These Terms govern your access to and use of DataCarbon’s QR-based discount platform (“Service”). By using the Service, you agree to these Terms.
2. Service description
DataCarbon enables businesses to create QR-linked discounts and enables customers to request/redeem offers, optionally verified via SMS and applied to orders through POS integrations (e.g., Square, Clover).
3. Your responsibilities
You will provide accurate information and comply with all applicable laws. You won’t misuse the Service (e.g., attempt to circumvent fraud controls, redeem multiple times beyond limits, or interfere with operations).
4. SMS communications
By providing your phone number in our app, you consent to receive SMS messages related to your discount request or redemption. Message & data rates may apply. Reply STOP to unsubscribe and HELP for help. You may also contact support@datacarbon.com.
5. Merchant terms and availability
Offers are provided by participating merchants and may have limits or exclusions. DataCarbon is not responsible for merchant pricing, product quality, or availability.
6. POS integrations
When connected, discounts may be automatically applied in a merchant’s POS. We may exchange limited information with POS providers (e.g., discount ID, order/receipt ID) to complete the transaction.
7. Intellectual property
The Service, including software, designs, and trademarks, is owned by DataCarbon and its licensors.
8. Disclaimers & limitation of liability
The Service is provided “as is” without warranties. To the maximum extent permitted by law, DataCarbon will not be liable for indirect or consequential damages.
9. Termination
We may suspend or terminate access for violations of these Terms or suspected abuse.
10. Governing law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of NC (USA), without regard to conflict of laws.
11. Changes
We may update these Terms; changes will be posted with a new “Last updated” date. Continued use constitutes acceptance.
